Joshua is interested in the role of extracellular chemical and mechanical signals on cell fate decisions. Specifically, he studies how environmental cues affect p53 signaling dynamics.

Outside of work, Joshua enjoys dancing and learning new languages. He is also passionate about leading and participating in efforts to diversify science.
